biscuit nativity ..?

Argggh just 2 weeks until Christmas!! Because I'm not spending christmas in London this year (going to Argentina and Cuba, expect to hear a lot about that) we didn't get a Christmas tree. But it felt a bit wrong to be playing festive music and madly singing 'all I want for Christmas is you' (to myself because I'm home alone) and annoying the neighbours but not actually having a tree or nativity.

So, I decided to make a little nativity with a foodie twist ;)

The box is just a random old box we used to store things in and we wrapped some cute lil' fairy lights around it and in it, and with a tiny glue gun stuck some holly around it (also put some inside.) Then we stuck on some of the biscuits on the side (like the the angel and the star.) For the three wise men, I stuck them into ribbon and then hung them from the top which I'm actually really proud of. Around the insides of the box I stuck a sheep, camel and cow and then baby Jesus was at the front.

The biscuits are from Buiscuiteers and I think they are so gorgeous and the effort that they put into them is very very clear (props to you Buiscuiteers)

Anyway, I'm not good at explaining but that's what I made! And I'm really happy because it looks festive and because of the fairy lights, always draws attention.

Hope you liked this post! What are you doing to make your house (or life) feel more christmassy?
Xx Sofia

  2. I originally thought you did these yourself and I was like WOAH, hidden talent much. Still, this is, in a word, mesmerising.
