Trip to Vejer, Spain

October half term, the interval of the autumn term. A lifesaving chance to get away, relax, get some sun or get yourself preped for halloween and christmas!!
This half term me and my fam escaped to Vejer de La Frontera, a small town relatively near Marbella, northern spain. We stayed in this adorable hotel called ‘El Jardin del Califa’ which is moroccan inspired and well known for its incredible cuisine and moroccan tea (which I ended up having almost every day ooops.) From our room you could see the town and the most amazing sunsets. Vejer is one of Spain’s many ‘pueblos blancos’ which literally means white towns, because all of the houses are completely white and it all looks so pretty and summery which is lovely to see, especially when London is bordering freezing lately.

The main aim of this lil’ holiday was to improve our surf/kitesurfing because that area is very well known for that and people come from all over the world to surf there. This was one of the first times I tried surfing and its so much fun, I did it every day I could. There is honestly nothing more satisfying than catching a wave and managing to stay on it and smileeee cuz you know mums watching and taking pictures ;)

So we were lucky with surf but not so lucky with kitesurfing. The whole time we were there there was either too much wind (I’m talking crazy storm shiz) or not enough, which was a disappointing but I guess you can’t control nature? When we weren’t catching waves or soaking in the sun we were visiting other nearby towns like Tarifa, Valdevaqueros and Barbate. Barbate is a famous area for its tuna (they have a tuna MUSEUM..!) , so we made sure to bring some back to London (in jars, safe.)

What I wore the most this whole trip was definitely my Shadow Hill hoodie which I’ve been adoring recently and will forever <3 It’s so comfy and helps me take aesthetic pictures which is perf ;)

  10. This hoodie is so nice, I love the colour too. I've been looking to buy more hoodies because they're all I wear to sixth form. I went to Seville, Cordoba, Granada and Malaga back in the summer and have Moroccan influence too and I can deffo see the similarity between those cities and the ones you visited! All these photos are so good too,
