September Faves

Arghh september is already finishing... where does the time go?

Many things happened this month for me, including starting year 10 (eww), my 15th birthday (yayy), and me slowly and painfully realising that summer is over.

Anyways these are the things I've been loving this month and recommend to you all <3

Coach Baby Pink Purse

There is honestly nothing bad I can say about this little purse. The colour, the material, the practicality... everything is perfect. I got this in an outlet in Rome for £20(!!) this summer and have been using it ever since. It fits flawlessly in my rucksack for school and in it I keep my money, oyster card and any other bits and pieces I may need.

Cereal Magazine

Imagine Connor Franta and Vogue had a child... I present to you Cereal Magazine. This magazine is the most (deep breath) aesthetically pleasing, strangely witty, incredibly broad and weirdly satisfying thing I have ever seen. As it says on the cover, it is a travel and style magazine, but its so much more. For example, in it there's an article with the founder of Muji that gives a whoollleee new meaning to less is more. This one I have is volume 11 and it focuses on 3 places (Tokyo, Seattle, Vienna) and 3 style related topics (Donald Judd, Our Legacy, Fogo Island) Click here to see more or to get your own.

Naturya's Spirulina Powder

Here is a perfect example of when I buy something literally only because of the packaging... (am I the only one who does that??) Besides the fact that the packaging made me very happy, I was very curious to a) know what spirulina was becuase I had heard lots of people talking about it b) find out if this was actually something healthy I could incorporate into my daily life. I actually found out that spirulina is, in fact, extremely healthy. Find out more here.

Anyways, on the back of the packet it says that you can use this powder in pretty much anything. From baking to smoothies to hot chocolate. I decided not to risk ruining some lovely blonde brownies or maltesers hot chocolate so I tried it in a smoothie instead. If I can tell you one thing about this is that it instantly makes any smoothie look 100 times healthier. For example, here I made a normal smoothie with some random fruit like peach, apple and blueberries.

What a nice colour right? I then added the powder and this is how it turned out...

Besides the fact that it doesn't look very good, I can certainly vouch for this smoothie. Its full of good stuff and keeps you full :)

Benefit They're Real Eyeliner

I don't normally do my eyeliner... I'm just not talented in the art of winged eyeliner. However, I have been trying to teach myself, and this makes it so much easier. The applicator is slanted which makes the gel glide on a lot easier. Obviously I am far from a wing expert, but practise makes perfect I guess.

Daisy by Marc Jacobs

Can we just appreciate the lid for a second...

Have you appreciated? Ok we can carry on. This is a perfect illustration of how I desperately try and hold on to any last threads of summer. This makes you smell so much like fresh flowers you'll want to put yourself in a vase. Everyone needs a perfume like this that they can turn to when you see the slightest shimmer of the sun and go into full summer mode. (Can you tell I don't like the cold..?)  In any case, this perfume has never failed to put me in a good mood and that's why I've been reaching for it so much.

Hope you enjoyed this post x What have you been enjoying this September?

x Sofia
