10 Things I Would Tell My Younger Self

Many people say to learn from your mistakes. I agree. Reflecting on what you could of done better is the best way to decide how you're going to lead your life in the future. This is why I decided to sit down and decide 10 Things I Would Tell My Younger Self.

1. Take it easy. The things you think matter a lot usually don't (e.g year 7 summer exams). Smile more, worry less. Positivity is infectious.

2. Don't Stress. Stress is one of those useless things that has no positive effect whatsoever, because you can't change the outcome.

3. Never listen to people who tell you you can never achieve your goals, only you know what you can do, you may even surprise yourself.

4.  You will know when you meet your true friends, they'll always be there for you.

5. Sleep! You will always regret staying up late and you will start to appreciate sleep much more.

6. Don't give up on your hobbies, you will regret having stopped the things you're good at.

7. Never take dating or nutrition advice from Cosmo Magazine

8. Don't rush to grow up, enjoy your childhood and play with puppies on the street while you still can without being judged by the owner.

9. Change is good. It'll be hard at the time, but look at the big picture and tell yourself you'll make it into a good thing.

10. You're hard work at school will be worth it. But, come on, don't be so hard on yourself.

If you could turn back time and tell your younger self something, what would you say?
